Location: Pollok, Glasgow (Engage – Glenlora service)

Hours: 21 per week (2 nights per week) or 16 per week (1 night/2 night alternate weeks)

Salary: Pro rata £23,400 - £23,624; £12.00 - £12.11 per hour (Salary Points 13 – 19)

Plus 1/3 night shift enhancement payment

About the Role

SAMH Glenlora Service are looking for a support worker to be part of an innovative service which makes a positive impact on the lives of the people who use the service.

As a Support Worker, you will carry key-worker responsibility for a number of service users, some of whom will require individual support. This will involve supporting people to develop outcome-focused action plans, carrying out assessments and reviews and contributing to the facilitation and development of therapeutic groups

What we are looking for

Your attitude and personality matter as much as your skills and experiences. We are looking for initiative, creativity, energy and determination and the ability to motivate and inspire service users to develop their skills and self-confidence and realise their aspirations.

You will have excellent communication and inter-personal skills and knowledge and experience in supporting people with mental health problems. The post involves evening work which is covered on a rota basis.
