About the Role

The support worker role within the ARBD addictions service is to ensure that the person is supported to live with their diagnosed condition and feel fulfilled. Support staff will ensure that the persons white board, diary or other ARBD tool is updated on a daily basis and make sure they can access the local community, attend any relevant appointments. Staff will support the person in their home to keep hygiene standards at an acceptable level.


What we are looking for

To work within the addictions services staff need to be resilient and be able to make quick decisions on the spot as the service does have chaotic people that are supported. Mental health training is provided along with ARBD training that shows the tools required.
