About the role:

Reporting to the Director of Practice and Innovation, the focus of this role is to lead our income generation strategy; manage corporate partnerships; and to support business development as we diversity and grow of our service offerings. The post holder will oversee income generation through:

· community fundraising;

· grant and trust applications;

· developing corporate partnerships.

You will identify and nurture corporate partnership opportunities, stewarding relationships with corporates and business ambassadors.

In addition you will provide business development support for our external training consultancy for the 3 year start- up period, implementing processes such as mapping customer journeys; relationship management; record keeping; and risk mapping.

You may also be asked to provide advice on business development across the organisation when growth and development opportunities arise

In this role you will;

  • Work with the Director of Practice and Innovation to develop and deliver Scottish Autism’s income generation strategy.
  • Manage a fundraising team responsible for community fundraising and events, grant and trust applications; and corporate partnerships.
  • Work collaboratively with others to generate project funding.
  • Support the creation of a business development plan, marketing activities and customer relationship management of the new training and consultancy offer.
  • Advise on business development plans for new and growing services that rely on diverse income streams.
  • Manage the relationship and stewardship of large donors, corporate partners, and business ambassadors.
  • Identify new leads for corporate partnerships, including potential training and consultancy opportunities and to record and follow up with leads provided by colleagues.
  • Monitor and report regularly on the different strands of income generation in order to manage risk and ensure that resources are optimally deployed.
  • Monitor and ensure that investment in fundraising activities generates appropriate levels of return
  • Communicate and work with the wider leadership team and other colleagues to share the income generation strategy and keep them abreast of activities.
  • Ensure all our fundraising and income generation activity complies with legal and regulatory requirements including OSCR requirements on reporting and monitoring.
