Personal Assistant - 20 Hours Per Week - Cardenden (SDS/EM/270673)

We are looking for a reliable and caring person to support a 72-year-old gentleman with day-to-day living and provide some respite for a family member.

Within this role there will be personal care, meal prep and light housework. The client would like some assistance to get up in the morning, showered and changed

The gentleman has a brain injury but communicates his needs well. He has a keen interest in 60's and 70's music. Applicants should have a positive attitude, a good sense of humour, and ideally some experience in care or support work.

This role requires an enhanced check through PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups).

Tasks included in this role are:

• Personal care

• Companionship

• Assisting with daily routines

• Light household tasks

• Meal preparation

• Assistance with medication

• Reliable and caring

• Previous care experience desirable
