Personal Assistant - (Weeks 1 and 3 - 43 hours, Weeks 2 and 4 - 16 Hours) - Kennoway (SDS/EB/356150)

Are you a kind, dependable and friendly person who enjoys making a positive difference in someone’s day? We are looking for a Personal Assistant to support a lady living in Kennoway who has Spina Bifida, Epilepsy and a learning disability.

This is a rewarding role for someone who can offer patience, warmth and a good sense of humour. The lady you would be supporting is sociable, enjoys company and conversation, and loves to laugh, so the right person will help bring companionship and a friendly presence to her day.

Your support will include helping with simple food preparation in the morning and afternoon, with occasional evening assistance. You will also provide medication prompting and some light personal care, helping her feel comfortable, confident and able to enjoy her routine.

If you have completed Epilepsy training, that would be helpful, although it is not essential, as training will be provided.

Duties:

• Personal care

• Simple meal preparation

• Medication prompting

Previous experience within care field preferred but not essential.

PVG required - This role requires an enhanced check through PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups)
