Job Purpose

Our Personal Assistants support people to lead full, active and socially connected lives, supporting people to achieve the things that matter to them.

Applicants should have, or be willing to work towards, a qualification meeting the standards required for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).

About this opportunity

We are looking for 3 people to join his team to give him his best life living in his own home. He has severe epilepsy, complex needs and communicate through his behaviours which can impact on his day-to-day life. He requires 24-hour support and needs to be supported by people who are confident, creative and can respond calmly to a range of situations. He uses his own unique personal language, he uses body language, facial expressions and sounds to communicate. He likes to be involved with what is going on in the room, is a good judge of character and a people person. He is a very likeable young man who could put a smile on anyone’s face. Elements of personal care will be required.

We are looking for people who are reliable and flexible who will work alongside this man, his team and his mum closely to build on their Team and give him the best of opportunities.
