We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly organised individual with great communication skills to provide maternity cover for our Communications Officer role, until December 31st, 2023.

Upmo is a registered Scottish charity working in Edinburgh and Lothian region providing innovative workshops and personalised support for people with learning and other complex disabilities. Our goal is to promote the self-confidence and social welfare of our students through assistance to engage with meaningful and progressive educational activities, aiding their development of practical, social and life skills and their ability and confidence to participate more fully in society.

The Communications Officer plays a key role in the planning and delivery of information to internal and external stakeholders. As such, the role involves writing, editing, and coordinating the publishing of content across various communication channels.
