About the role

Your core focus will be to ensure that the people we work for are supported in line with their co-produced Outcome Star. You will support your team to focus their attention to positive working and empowering them to be self-sufficient in their day-to-day tasks.

The role involves close collaboration with colleagues within Group and external partners to ensure that there is a robust risk plan in place which will seek to mitigate harm to those you are responsible to/for as well as contributing to the development of the service and any continuous improvement.

A key element of the role involves taking part in internal and external development discussions including but not limited, team meeting and multidisciplinary meetings.

Who are we looking for?

The successful candidates will be willing to work in challenging situations with the ability to demonstrate their own judgment in line with policies and procedures as well as having a positive outlook and demonstrating a can-do attitude towards the service, colleagues, people we work for and external partners.

You must be flexible to work on a shift pattern that allows seven-day management cover on a rota to give fair work life balance. You must also be willing to take part in on-call which will be projected annually in line with your working agreement.

You will also be expected to take part in service development programmes, including new package of support to ensure the service is sustainable.

The ideal candidate will be registered with Scottish Social Services Council and showing evidence of Continuous Professional Learning as well as having or working towards their SVQ Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care.
