About Family Support Centre, Langlees.

Aberlour Family Support Centre - Langlees works in partnership with the local community by providing a range of services which promote, positively support and strengthen the capacity of children and families to reach their full potential.

What we are looking for

Our relief workers play a crucial role in supporting our team. This work is offered on a casual, hourly paid basis to provide cover during staff absence and/or particularly busy periods. Availability should be specified on your application form. Ideally, you will have experience of direct work with children and families.

You will have the necessary skills and experience to enhance the development of under 3’s in an early years, community based setting. Experience of working alongside Health, Education and Social Work colleagues to improve life chances for children and families will be beneficial to this position.

Ideally you will have a working knowledge and understanding of the key stages of a child’s development, including early brain development up to the age of 3, the impact of family circumstances on children’s well-being and child protection issues.

You will be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council or be working towards the required qualification for registration.
