COSLA is the data controller in relation to the myjobscotland registration database. Our legal basis for processing information relating to user registration is:

• necessary for the performance of a contract with the individual (i.e. providing you with access to the myjobscotland website, responding to your issues/queries relating to a registered account); and/or
• legitimate interests (i.e. administration of the website)

Once you submit your online application to a council/organisation using the myjobscotland website, the recruiting council/organisation becomes the data controller. Please review the individual council/organisation data privacy notices so you have information about how they are processing/handling your data.
