Location: Kittybrewster Depot
Duration: Permanent, Full Time
About the Role:
The post holder is required to ensure ACC is meeting standards of compliance to satisfy requirements of its Operator Licence. Post holder will be required to undertake vehicle/driver spot checks, audits and offer advice/guidance/training to Service users aimed at securing their compliance with legislative and/or ACC Policy requirements. Review policy/practice/standards to identify and implement initiatives to achieve enhanced performance and compliance.
Requirements
Minimum qualification requirements:
Category C driving licence (or work towards attaining within 18 months)
Transport Manager Certificate of Professional Competence (or work towards attaining
within 18 months)
Educated to minimum of standard grade or equivalent
Responsibilities
The post holder is expected to demonstrate:
Skills & experience in:
Communication skills with ability to confidently deliver presentations and/or complex
legislative requirements to staff of all levels in easy- to-understand terms
Competency and confidence using MS software packages, e.g. Word, Excel, Teams
Management of own time and workload to meet deadlines
Management of customer relationships
Preparation of audit and/or other reports
An understanding of:
Transport legislation
Health, Safety and Welfare at Work legislation
Tachograph legislation
Drivers Hours and Working Time legislation
First Use Vehicle Checks
