job purpose/about the role

Specific duties include:
•Provide administrative and technical application processing contributing to
the delivery of an effective service.
•Scanning of large and complex plans
•Supporting the Digitalisation of the Deed Store
•Collection and scanning of Deeds, Plans etc from the Deed Store
•Liaise with colleagues, the general public, external contractors and Members of the Council to respond to queries
where appropriate.
•Ensure that all records are accurately maintained through the document management and financial recording
systems.
•Provide a corporate mail recording process across legal services.
•Provide a first-class reception service for any customer interactions.
•To generally carry out such work as may be allocated by the Team Leader, Solicitors and Paralegals from time to
time.

The post holder needs to hold as a minimum:

The postholder is able to demonstrate:

Relevant advanced administrative experience working within an office or reception
environment.
Good written and verbal communication skills and experience of dealing with
customers, including effective handling of conflict.
Experience of collaboration with peers and stakeholders to achieve service
priorities.
Proven organisational skills and accuracy in data entry, processing and electronic
record keeping and reporting.
Experience of using a variety of systems and programmes and willingness to
embrace new technology and adopt service improvements
