Location: Aberdeen Art Gallery & Museums Venues
Duration: Permanent, 2 x Part Time - 20 hours - includes weekend working
The purpose of the job is to serve customers and assist with general sales duties at one of the Museums and Galleries retail operations. This includes dealing with customer sales and enquiries, using an EPOS system and keeping shops stocked and clean.
The post holder needs to hold as a minimum:
No formal qualifications required.
The post holder needs to demonstrate:
Practical experience in dealing with the public in the customer service or retail industry with a demonstrable commitment to high standards of customer care
Experience of handling cash effectively
Previous experience of using communication and numeracy skills to achieve excellent standards
Previous experience of working successfully as part of a team and on own initiative
Able to do work which is physically demanding
Flexible approach to work including working weekends
Experience of stock control
Good knowledge of local area and services
