Job Description

As manager for our Housing Strategy and Building Standards services, you will lead on the development and delivery of our local housing strategy to improve outcomes for our tenants, customers and communities.
The role offers a variety of responsibilities to provide leadership across our affordable housing, private sector housing and building standards teams. This includes taking forward our affordable housing investment and disinvestment strategies, while continuing to build new homes and meet housing need in Aberdeenshire.
The successful candidate will nurture strong working relationships with a range of internal and external partners, including health and social care, housing associations, landlords and housing developers.

There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.

This post requires a Disclosure Check. A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of this check being deemed satisfactory.

This post has a minimum requirement of one reference which must be your current or most recent employer.
