Job Description

Based at Montrose Museum, Panmure Place, Montrose.

ANGUSalive Museums and Galleries are delighted to announce that they have been awarded £12,804 from Museums Galleries Scotland to fund their Natural History, Living World project. This project will support a Collections Technician to help digitise the collection by adding it to our collection management database and making it available online for researchers. 

As Museum Collections Technician (Natural History) you will assist with the care and management of the museum collections, focusing on our Natural History catalogue. You will carry out collections work in accordance with SPECTRUM, enter and update catalogue data, carry out labelling, digitisation and photography of objects and tasks as directed by the Museum Collections Lead, you will be required to work collaboratively with colleagues from cross the ANGUSalive service areas. 

This post is fully funded by Museums Galleries Scotland.

This job is temporary until no later than 31 July 2025.
