Job Description
Based at Brechin Community Campus, 2 The Banks, Brechin. As and when required, you may be required to deliver services in other areas of Angus.
This job is workstyle 4.
You will have the opportunity to benefit from our flexible and agile working practices. This means you will work from a variety of locations, working from council buildings, working in service user’s locations and site visits and you can work from home to best suit your work, meetings and collaboration.
As part of the Vibrant Communities Adult learning team, you will work closely with a range of Community Learning and development partners and wider stakeholders to engage with adults who experience difficulties with digital, numeracy and literacy skills for a wide range of reasons.
You will work with those experiencing the most disadvantage and inequalities, including those affected by substance misuse, mental health and wellbeing and young families affected by cost of living.
You will support learners through personalised individual learning plans which are person centred and focuses on their specific needs and interests.
This job is temporary until no later than 30 September 2025 to cover maternity leave.
Internal and external applications on a secondment basis will be considered. You must have the approval of your line manager / organisation.
