Job Description
Based at County Buildings, Market Street, Forfar.
This job is workstyle 3 - Flexi.
You will have the opportunity to benefit from our flexible and agile working practices. This means you will work from a variety of locations, working from council buildings, working in service user’s locations and site visits and you can work from home to best suit your work, meetings and collaboration.
The Maximise Angus! project will involve work with schools and education colleagues to develop and normalise advice to families and contribute towards the reduction in child poverty in the Angus area.
You will will be required to advise, assist and represent clients in all matters relating to benefits and debt. You will manage a caseload of a mixture of benefit and debt cases.
This will include dealing with families in financial crisis. You may be required to deliver training and to mentor other staff members in the team. You will also be required to carry out outreach work and co-location.
This job is temporary for up to 23 months from date of appointment.
Internal and external applications on a secondment basis will be considered. You must have the approval of your line manager / organisation.

Requirements
You must have the ability to obtain a satisfactory Basic Disclosure Certificate.
