Job Description
Based at Angus House, Orchardbank Business Park, Forfar.
This job is workstyle 5 - Flexi.
You will have the opportunity to benefit from our flexible and agile working practices. This means you will work from home for part of your week and spend some time in council buildings to best suit your work, meetings and collaboration.
As a Quantity Surveyor you will be working predominantly within the Property Assets project team but working closely with the Housing Assets project team assisting in fulfilling Angus Councils target to provide new affordable units in line with government targets, monitoring reactive maintenance contracts, EESSH compliance and a range of residential upgrades including kitchen upgrades.
You will also be involved in procurement and pre/ post contract services for construction works to various Council buildings.
Knowledge of residential projects and bespoke contracts is desirable.
Prior experience of billing packages and relevant legislation is essential.
