Job Description

Based at Bruce House, Wellgate, Arbroath.

This job is workstyle 5.

We are recruiting for an inspiring, strategic and visible leader to join Angus Health and Social Care Partnership (AHSCP). We are looking for someone with extensive knowledge and experience in mental health and who shares in our strategic ambitions locally and across Tayside.

You must have extensive knowledge, experience and ability to lead operational services, be the mental health and wellbeing ‘expert’ within local community planning and develop a Tayside wide Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy in partnership with NHS Tayside, Dundee HSCP and Perth and Kinross HSCP.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to make the transition into a senior management role. We need you to have the ability to provide strategic, tactical and operational leadership to Adult Community Mental Health teams, Mental Health Officer Services, Mental Health and Wellbeing Services and suicide prevention within the Adult Services element of the AHSCP, including those service areas who have been integrated with NHS Tayside.

We are looking for someone who can be transformational, ensure a culture of self-evaluation and continuous improvement ensuring that services are delivered in the most effective way.

Please note that NHS Terms and conditions can apply to the successful candidate if that is the preferred choice of employer.

If want to know more about this fantastic opportunity and for an informal discussion please contact Eunice McLennan, Head of Community Health & Care Services Tel 01307 492337.

Please note interviews will be held week commencing Monday, 21 April 2025.
