Based at Logan House Brambles Cottages, 10 James Chalmers Road, Arbroath.

These jobs are workstyle 1 - Fixed.

In this workstyle most of your time is spent undertaking the direct delivery of front-line services work. Depending on your role there may be a limited requirement to access a specific council location during the course of the working week if you are not delivering your service at a council location.

Brambles Cottages consists of two bespoke cottages on the site. Both are modern facilities to meet the individual needs of the children and young people we support. Both cottages cater for looked after young people aged 5 years upwards.

Our services are inclusive and accessible to all children and the team provide love, care and support to children and young people within Angus. Our residential childcare workers create homely, welcoming environments in which children can develop a sense of emotional safety and belonging.

We are looking for workers with resilience who have the right personal skills and experience to support our young people.

Our services run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and the working pattern supports this. You may therefore be asked to carry out sleep-in and occasional waking night duties for which an allowance is payable.

There are 2 permanent positions and 1 temporary position   The temporary position is available for up to 6 months from date of appointment.

You will be asked to indicate on your application form which position/s you are applying for.

Internal and external applications on a secondment basis will be considered. You must have the approval of your line manager / organisation.
