Job Description

Based at Angus House, Orchardbank Business Park, Forfar.

This job is workstyle 3.

You will have the opportunity to benefit from our flexible and agile working practices. This means you will work from a variety of locations including working from council buildings and you can work from home to best suit your work, meetings and collaboration.

We are currently recruiting inspiring social workers to join the Collaborative Care Home Support Team within the Angus Health and Social Care Partnership. We are looking for someone who shares in our ambitions and is committed to ensuring that service users receive enhanced standards of care and support.

You must have extensive knowledge and experience of social work services and demonstrate you have the skills and knowledge to be able to make decisions which support our policy framework, standards and service objectives.

As a Social Worker, you will offer interventions, using a co-ordinated holistic approach that helps care staff develop strategies and build competence and confidence to support residents.

You will review and support the needs of service users in care home settings ensuring their needs and rights are met. In addition, you will support the delivery of robust scrutiny of practice relating to adult protection, residents of care homes across the service and local multi-agency arrangements to promote the achievement of positive outcomes for service users.

You will also actively demonstrate, promote and uphold social work values and deliver fair and evidence-based decision making.

If you want to know more about this fantastic opportunity, please contact Sam Whannel on 07470 732355 for an informal discussion

Please note interviews will be held Thursday, 16 May 2024.

You must have the ability to become a member of the PVG Scheme.
