Service: Health & Social Care Partnership

Closing Date:  Sunday 28th July 2024

We are a forward thinking, high performing and ambitious organisation focusing on delivering person centred and integrated services across our beautiful and complex area.  If you relish a challenge, have a passion for public service and care about people, then Argyll and Bute Health and Social Care Partnership is the ideal place for you to grow, develop and deliver.

Working to the Chief Executives of the Council and NHS Highland, alongside their leadership teams, you will provide overall strategic leadership for the Argyll and Bute HSCP, leading fully integrated teams to deliver our strategic vision for the people of Argyll and Bute.

With 23 inhabited islands, six main towns and remote communities, and an ageing population our challenges demand creativity and a commitment to innovate.  Our IJB is responsible for delegated services from social care to acute health care, from care homes to hospitals.  We have a talented, professional, and dedicated workforce who do their absolute best for those who rely on us most.  We are based firmly in our communities and work closely with colleagues in the third and independent sector, strengthening and building relationships every day.  As a leader with strong communication, engagement and partnership skills, you will be central to ensuring that the HSCP works closely with our communities, listening to them and ensuring that we deliver the services that they need.

Our ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in strategic and values-based leadership, management, and transformational change.  We will provide the opportunity to make a career defining impact, taking a leadership role in our culture journey, supporting our workforce to thrive and transforming the health and wellbeing of our communities.
