An exciting opportunity has arisen to join The Justice Social Work Service to deliver an increased range of interventions to service users throughout Argyll and Bute.  These posts will be aimed at enhancing the availability of diversion from prosecution, bail supervision and structured deferred sentences in remote and rural communities. The successful candidate will be motivated to increase the life chances of service users subject to Court disposals whilst contributing to community safety.

  • This is a temporary post which may be filled on a secondment basis by an employee wishing to gain experience/career development and will be at the discretion of the employee’s line manager.  
  • Successful candidates will have to apply for Non-Police Personnel Vetting (NPPV) at Level 1, 2 or 3 (dependent on post) in order to access Police databases as an essential requirement of the post.
