Argyll and Bute Council are recruiting a Customer Service Point Supervisor. This is a full time post working 35 hours per week and is based in the Municipal Buildings, Oban.
To support the Customer Service Centre to provide a high quality, efficient and effective service to users by:
Supervising the delivery of service at the Customer Service Point within own area ensuring that high priority, cost-effective services are delivered to members of the public; adopting best practice, leadership and motivational skills ensuring an effective and efficient registration service is provided, conducting civil marriages, civil partnerships, citizenship ceremonies, baby naming ceremonies, renewal of marriage vows and associated duties/paperwork including preparation of registers, returns and information for Registration Examiner.
Line management / staffing responsibility for staff within Customer Service Point. Supervision including staff training.
Budgetary responsibility; Monitor budget for relevant area for Customer Service Point and Registration, using corrective action where necessary.
