This is an exciting post within the Community Planning and Development Team to support the delivery of the pre-loved school uniform project across Argyll and Bute.

The project seeks to encourage the reuse and recycling of clothing and uniforms that children have outgrown, reducing the costs for parents, carers and the planet, and contributing to the Council's community development activities, climate change strategy and response to the cost of living crisis.

Working together with the Partnerships Development Officer and engaging with schools and community groups, the Project Assistant will identify opportunities to increase the geographic coverage and general awareness of the project, while developing measures to sustain the scheme beyond the end of the project.

The Project Assistant will research, collate and analyse data relating to the project, act as a point of contact and support for project partners and develop signposting and promotional materials including web content.
