Argyll and Bute Council’s Financial Services Department are looking to recruit a Trainee Accountant within the Accounting and Budgeting Team. This is a full time post working 35 hours per week and can be based remotely with the occasional requirement to travel where necessary.
Initially the candidate will be required to provide support to the Senior Accountant in providing corporate finance services, including Council wide budget preparation and monitoring and financial accounting including year end accounts. However the job role will be flexible and the successful candidate will be required to provide support to various teams across Accounting & Budgeting.
The candidate must be motivated and willing to study towards a CCAB qualification, preferably CIPFA.
