Salary: £21,133 - £21,434 (pro rata for part time and sessional)
Hours: 6.25 per week, 38 weeks sessional
Forthview Primary School is a City of Edinburgh Council Primary School situated in the north west of Edinburgh. Forthview is situated in the area of West Pilton which is a large housing scheme near Craigroyston High School, in an area of high and multiple deprivation. Forthview Primary currently has a full time nursery of 64 children and 402 pupils from P1 - P7.
We have 2 posts available for a Break Club Assistant in our school breakfast club. This would involve serving the children with cereal, toast, milk and also engaging with the children in the morning then clearing the area at the end of breakfast club. We currently have approx. 60 children attending each morning.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.
