Calderglen Early Learning & Childcare is a large, busy setting, with capacity for 64 children at any one time, with various patterns of attendance between 8am and 6pm, term time and 52 weeks per year. Our setting has a friendly team who are supportive, energetic and passionate, following a Froebelian approach. The successful candidate will be required to work shift patterns within the setting, between the hours of 07.45hrs and 18.00hrs, Thursday-Friday, with some late shifts on rotation, within each month.

To help achieve this, we’re changing the way we interview and assess candidates by moving from a competency-based interview approach to a behavioural and technical (skills for the job) based approach. This new way of interviewing will allow us to assess how you think and how you would bring Our Behaviours of Respect, Integrity and Flexibility into your ways of working.
