The City of Edinburgh Council are looking to recruit a Plant Maintenance Engineer with experience in maintaining and repairing of Plant machinery and equipment associated with parks and greenspace including ride on grass cutting equipment as well as various handheld machines.

This is a new position that has been developed to support the maintenance team for the emerging introduction of electric powered equipment used to maintain our cities greenspace including electric strimmers, leaf blowers, hedge cutters and pedestrian grass cutters. It is imperative therefore that individuals interested possess experience and ability in this line of work.

In return we can offer:

- Starting salary of £30,751 rising to £36,312 on a contract of 36 hours per week.
- 27 days annual leave plus public holidays rising to 35.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
