Planning and Building Standards have a vacancy for a motivated individual to undertake and assist with the provision of ICT support and development activities in Planning and Building Standards. You will work in an exciting and dynamic environment which is at the heart of business change throughout the Council.
We are looking for an ICT Officer to join the Team to support and develop ICT systems for Planning and Building Standards. You will be involved in developing specifications, identifying and evaluation development options, as well as testing the systems, for the service. Experience in SQL and MS Access is desirable.
The successful candidate will work in close co-operation with other members of the Team, other Council service areas and the Council’s ICT Partner Provider to help support users and deliver business change.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range. For roles in grade 5 or above, annual increments in our contribution zones are dependent on achieving agreed performance goals.
