Senior Social Worker

Salary: £40,275 - £47,654 (pro rata for part time)
Hours: 18 per week
We are looking for a Senior Social worker to join our Self-Directed Support Advice team.
We are seeking candidates that have specific and detailed knowledge of Direct payments, ILF and self-directed support legislation, to lead and manage a team as they deal with complex issues, providing advice to professional colleagues on resolution outcomes.
You will have excellent organisational skills and be a clear and effective communicator. Previous experience of working in a community setting and an understanding of the legal frameworks and Local Authority statutory responsibilities relevant to Adult Social Work are essential.
Trauma informed, relationships and strengths based social work is at the heart of our practice, as is the Three Conversations approach. Adhering to the Social Care (Self-directed Support) (Scotland) Act 2013 to provide a range of choices to people for how they are provided with the support they need.
