An exciting opportunity has arisen for a temporary Support for Learning Teacher at St John Vianney RC Primary School. This is maternity cover for the current SfL teacher. This is an opportunity for either an experienced SfL teacher OR a teacher who would like to gain experience in this role. Ideally, the successful candidate will have:

The position is well supported by the Depute Head Teacher, working closely as our ‘ASL TEAM’. The position is advertised as 1.0 FTE, although there can be flexibility with this.

St John Vianney Primary School is organised into 9 classes from P1-P7 and a large Early Learning Centre. The school is led by a management team of a Head Teacher, Depute Head Teacher, a Principal Teacher and a Business Manager. The leadership team is ably supported by a School Administrator, a great team of Pupil Support Assistants and a Service Support Officer.

Our school is very multi-cultural, with over 30 languages/countries celebrated across our community. It’s a big part of who we are! Place2Be is also part of our school.

If you would like to find out more about of the position, please do not hesitate to get in touch with the Head Teacher - Chris Kelly: christopher.kelly@st-johnvianney.edin.sch.uk
