Our collegiate aims are to ensure all young people, regardless of background, achieve their dreams and to empower our young people to become, successful, responsible, confident, and effective citizens of their community and wider society. Tynecastle Learning Community is a diverse, ambitious, and thriving cluster of 4 primary schools, Balgreen, Craiglockhart, Dalry and Stenhouse all feeding into Tynecastle High School. We are complimented by 2 standalone Early Years Centres, Balgreen and Tynecastle Nurseries. The school role is currently 829.

We strive to create an environment of respect and inclusion, ensuring our young people have the opportunities to acquire, demonstrate, articulate and value the knowledge and skills that will support them as life-long learners. We are committed to offering the best possible learning experience to our learners, whoever and wherever they are.

We are looking for an excellent classroom teacher who shares our values and will enhance the opportunities for our learners. The role is a fantastic opportunity to work across a learning community, further develop leadership skills, tackle the attainment gap and will in the first instance, focus on improving outcomes for P7-S1 pupils before extending the successful model from P5-S3.
