Pupil Mentor & Attendance Worker, The Nicolson Institute (7832)
28 hours per week, Fixed term
£21,915 to £24,046 per annum, including Distant Islands Allowance
Required for 28 hours per week, year-round, to support and promote raising attainment challenge/social inclusion through early intervention as part of the school’s Pupil Equity Fund plan.
Duties include the analysing school attendance data; preparing reports relating to individual casework; identifying groups of pupils who may benefit from early intervention and deliver appropriate sessions to these groups.
You must have practical experience of working with young people who are particularly vulnerable in terms of social, emotional, behavioural, learning or family difficulties; knowledge of educational provision, including post-school provisions; the ability to co-operate with others and work effectively as a member of a team.
This is a fixed term post to 11 August 2024.
Salary for the above post is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance. Appointment to the post will be on the first point of grade.
