Senior Manager Neighbourhood Services

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Senior Manager Neighbourhood Services to provide strategic and operational leadership for a diverse portfolio of neighbourhood and community-facing services across Dumfries and Galloway.

 

This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for delivering high-quality, efficient and customer-focused services that make a direct difference to the communities we serve. The portfolio includes parks, burial grounds, play areas, non-criminalised parking, streetscene operations, grounds maintenance, street cleaning and associated neighbourhood infrastructure.

 

You will play a key role in delivering Council priorities, supporting community empowerment, driving service transformation and ensuring the effective use of resources while achieving Best Value and statutory compliance.

 

We are looking for a highly capable leader with substantial management experience, a strong track record of delivering operational services and a passion for improving outcomes for communities.

A significant relocation package of up to £5000 may be available to the successful candidate (Permanent positions only).  Please see attached guidance for further information.
