Casual Senior Waste Operative
Various locations In Dumfries and Galloway
£12.59 per hour
Duties will include:-
- Driving of variety of waste collection and disposal vehicles.
- Litter picking and waste clean-up where appropriate.
- Ensuring collection and disposal of waste in a safe and efficient manner and adhering to Health & Safety and Safe Working Procedures.
- Other tasks relating to Waste Services functions.
An opportunity has arisen for the recruitment of Casual Senior Waste Operatives within Communities. We deliver a wide variety of frontline services, and this role is required to provide weekend waste collection and disposal activities across Dumfries and Galloway.
You will be expected to carry out various duties as instructed by the Waste Supervisor and have a working knowledge of Health and Safety requirements. You will be required to work with minimal supervision and able to use your own initiative.

You will be educated to Standard Grade Level and have HGV Class C License.
