Based at the Town Hall, Dalbeattie you will work 12.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
Duties include responsibility for the security of the premises, lighting, heating, checking emergency lighting and fire extinguishers, cleaning of premises and porterage and handyperson duties. Other duties will arise from the use of the premises such as taking bookings, setting out furniture, record keeping and cash handling.
Ideally, you will have caretaking and cleaning experience. You must be fit to move furniture and equipment, be willing to undertake key holder responsibilities and be self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative.
