Based at Dumfries Ice Bowl we are looking to fill 1x17 hour Leisure Attendant Post, which will cover a wide range of duties within the facility. This post is a Friday, Saturday, Sunday contract including evenings, which will be annualised, consistent to 45 weeks per year.
We require a passionate and enthusiastic individual to work as part of a team carrying out general leisure attendant duties ensuring customer safety at all times including ice stewarding, communicating effectively with members of the public and other staff, undertaking cleaning duties and setting up and dismantling of sports equipment in a safe environment, assisting in the ice making process and assisting with general maintenance tasks.
You will assist in actively promoting Dumfries Ice Bowl and Leisure and Sport activities at all times.
Experience of working with the general public, children and customer care is essential and you will ideally have experience of working in a Leisure Centre. You must also be self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative. A First Aid certificate, basic leisure qualification and the ability to skate are desirable.
