An excellent opportunity has arisen for recruitment within Economy & Infrastructure.
Facilities, Waste & Neighbourhood Services. You will be required to work 36 hours per week.
We deliver a wide variety of frontline services and require Senior Refuse & Recycling Operative at our depot in Cargen Tower, Dumfries.
Duties will include:-
Driving of Refuse, Recycling, Food Waste & White Goods/Bulky vehicles.
Ensuring collection of refuse & recycling routes on a daily basis in a safe and efficient manner adhering to Health & Safety and Safe Working Procedures.
Other tasks relating to Waste Collection Services functions
You will be expected to carry out various duties as instructed by the Waste Supervisor and have a working knowledge of Health and Safety requirements. You will be required to work as a team member.
You will be educated to Standard Grade Level and have Class C, HGV License, and valid Driver CPC.
