Domestic Assistant

Job Description

You will be based in Millview Cottage, 3 Kings Cross Road which is a children's residential house. You will be responsible for daily upkeep of all communal areas within the house including the cleaning of W/C's, Children's bedrooms and all other rooms in the house or any other duties that may arise that relate to your job role. Working hours part time, 20 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 9AM - 1PM (however these time could be negotiated to suit the correct candidate). We provide support for 5 Children and young people who reside with us. Requirements

You will have previous domestic experience.

Responsibilities

You will undertake duties concerned with the operation of residential and other similar establishments.

The Individual

You will be able to maintain confidentiality, have high standards in cleanliness and flexibility with working hours. This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check, prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
