Job Description
Working in a hybrid style, based at home and in Dundee House, you will work full time, 37 hours per week.

Local authorities in Scotland are responsible for the delivery of the Scottish Welfare Fund, consisting of Crisis Grants and Community Care Grant payments to individuals and families in need. You will be responsible for assisting clients in hardship who have approached the Scottish Welfare Fund for assistance.
Full training will be provided to deliver a quality service in an effective and caring manner. You must be able to work in a contact centre environment and manage a range of customer focussed support roles within the service whilst dealing sensitively and respectfully with our customers' needs.

You will have 5 National 4s, including English and Maths, or equivalent, or relevant experience of working within a Customer Services environment.Responsibilities
You will under relevant degrees of supervision, make decisions on Scottish Welfare Fund Payment applications taking account of relevant policy and guidance.The Individual
You will be able to work within a team and with minimum supervision, have well developed written and verbal communication, keyboard and numeric skills, be customer focussed, and be able to work under pressure.
You will have a calm but resilient disposition. You will have experience of an organised and methodical approach to work to ensure targets are achieved and of working with computerised systems to input and retrieve data.
A Basic Disclosure Scotland check is required.
