Job Purpose

Supporting the Team Leader and Technical Officers in the day-to-day co-ordination and management of projects ensuring the effective monitoring and reporting on work programmes across the Ayrshire Roads Alliance in order to achieve the Joint Committee’s key objectives; specifically in relation to both Council’s Community Plans, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreements and Best Value.

Additional Information

This is a permanent full time post. The admin base for this post is The Opera House, 8 John Finnie Street, Kilmarnock although you will be required to work throughout East & South Ayrshire.

Normal Office Hours are 9am - 5pm Monday - Thursday & 9am - 4pm Friday.

This is a progressive graded post covering Grade C, Grade 7 & Grade 9. The annual salary for each grade is as follows:

Grade GC £22,914 - £24,115 (pending pay award 2023/24)
Grade G7 £26,900 - £29,156 (pending pay award 2023/24)
Grade G9 £32,997 - £36,400 (pending pay award 2023/24)

The level of participation and grade will be dependent on the post holder's relevant experience and / or qualifications. Grade progression is subject to an annual measurement of satisfactory performance and qualifications attained.

The workstyle for this post is ‘Flexible’ - 50% -79% of your time in an office location/ multiple work locations. You will work at your administrative base or another agreed office location between 2.5 to 4 days per week and only occasionally from home.
