Job Purpose

Support the Economic Development Manager to communicate the range of available services that support pre-starts, start-ups and established businesses across Ayrshire, ensuring the effective marketing and promotion of initiatives and events designed to assist business to grow in the local economy in order to assist with the promotion and delivery of the Council’s key objectives in relation to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement and Best Value.

Additional Information

This is a fixed term post until 31 March 2026 working 35 hours per week. The admin base for this post is the Ingram Enterprise Centre, John Finnie Street, Kilmarnock.

Normal office hours are 9am - 5pm Monday - Thursday & 9am - 4pm Friday.

Annual Salary £31,905 - £34,671

The workstyle for this post is ‘Mobile’ - 20-49% of your time in an office or other work location. You will work at your administrative base or another agreed office location between 1 to 2.5 days per week and the remainder of the week at home or other work locations as required.
