Job Description

Contribute to the development, implementation, enforcement, promotion and delivery of efficient and effective Environmental Health and Trading Standards Service in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the Council's key objectives; specifically in relation to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement and Best Value.

It is also a requirement that the reference from your current or most recent employer is from an appropriate senior manager and it is not a reference from a former peer operating at the same level.

 

JOB DETAILS

This is a permanent full time post and the admin base for this post is Council Headquarters, London Road, Kilmarnock.

The hours of work are 35 per week working;
Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm and Friday 9am - 4pm.

The salary is £27,937 - £29,247 per annum

The workstyle for this post is ‘Fixed’ - 80-100% of your time at a single office base or work location. You will work at your administrative base or another agreed office location between 4 and 5 days per week. It is the expectation that all office-based employees (with the exception of those working in schools) will work to the higher end of their allocated workstyle in terms of time spent in the office or at other work locations.
