With regards to requests for references and in line with this guidance, during your application process you should provide details of a minimum of two appropriate and relevant references, one of which should be from your current or most recent employer. It is also a requirement that the reference from your current or most recent employer is from an appropriate senior manager and it is not a reference from a former peer operating at the same level.

The Individual

The Neighbourhood Board (We Make Kilmarnock) is looking to recruit an exceptional individual to help deliver its Pride in Place Plan.

We Make Kilmarnock is the name for Kilmarnock’s Pride in Place Neighbourhood Board and the programme which underpins it. It is funded primarily through £20 million from UK Government over 10 years.

We Make Kilmarnock has an approved Pride in Place Plan which sets out what the monies are to be spent on and why. The Pride in Place Plan is part of a wider Kilmarnock Town Centre Masterplan

It is an exciting time to join the team as the project moves into delivery and as the wider ambitions for Kilmarnock to 2040 have been set out in the first masterplan since the 1970s.
