Job Description

To supervise, monitor and support the work of Centre Operators within the Risk Management Centre, working as part of a team to facilitate the efficient running of our CCTV, Community Alarms and Housing Assets Contact centre services. Deputise for the Community Safety Manager as required. In order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the key objectives in relation to those identified within the East Ayrshire Plan and the Community Plan 2015-2030. To Protect and support our most vulnerable individuals and families.

Requirements

The duties of this post requires access to the public sector network and therefore the successful applicant must complete a basic Disclosure Scotland application. A formal offer of employment with East Ayrshire Council will only be made once satisfactory clearance has been received. Any information that is disclosed on a basic disclosure will require to be discussed before a formal offer of employment is made.

Responsibilities

This is a permanent job share post based at the Risk Management Centre, London Road, Kilmarnock.

The work pattern for this post would be Week 1 = 2x12hr day shift, Week 2 = 2x12hr night shift (equalling approximately 37.5 hours per fortnight).

A Shift allowance will also be payable for this post.

The full time salary for this post is £28,437 - £30,822 and this will be pro rated due to working job share plus a shift allowance. (pending pay award 2023/24)
