The salary advertised is full time (35 hours per week). Part-time hours will be pro-rated accordingly.

Hourly rate of pay: £18.03 - £20.18
Days and Hours of Work:
Tuesday - Thursday, 09:00-17:00
Days of working are negotiable, flexi time is applicable, and starting and finishing time is flexible.
To start 5th August 2024.

Job Details

To monitor and enforce the licensing system established under the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005, Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982, Smoking, Health and Social Care (Scotland) Act 2005 and the Gambling Act 2005 all as amended from time to time as well as any relevant licensing legislation that might be enacted.

To promote key licensing objectives, e.g. preventing crime and disorder, securing public safety, preventing public nuisance, protecting and improving public health, and protecting children and young persons from harm.

Job Requirements

Relevant Qualifications
Educated to HND or SVQ Level 4 and/or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through relevant experience .

Driving Licence
A full current driving licence is desirable for this post.
