Through our No One Left Behind funding from Scottish Government, we have an exciting opportunity to join our friendly and supportive employability team as employability key worker supporting Care Experienced young people and care leavers. As part of this role you will be responsible for providing holistic employability support to help support care experienced young people into employment, Further/Higher Education and training. You will provide access to training and a wide range of work experience opportunities to support independent living and emotional wellbeing
We need someone who has experience of working with care experienced young people in a supportive capacity and aware of the challenges currently facing this cohort within the labour market. The post holder will also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a variety of partners.
Ideally the successful post holder will also have knowledge and understanding of the current employability agenda and relevant policies pertinent to care experienced young people.
*Depending upon the needs of the service, staff in Hybrid roles will typically work from home for up to 40-60% of the time where the needs of the service can still be met.
