The Environment Department is seeking a suitably experienced individual to work in the capacity of Project Manager. The successful post-holder will be expected to work with the Programme Manager on the development, design and successful delivery of a range of projects across the departmental change programmes.  These projects will support the department in the delivery of efficient, effective and quality driven services for customers.

The post holder will be expected to plan, implement and deliver a range of complex projects, likely to include service redesign and enabling projects around accommodation, digital technologies and information as an asset aiming to embed the council’s Five Capabilities, the department’s new target operating model and the change programme’s vision for future service delivery. 

The post holder will be involved in delivering ambitious change projects and will need to work to challenging timescales and drive delivery to achieve clear outcomes.

*Depending upon the needs of the service, staff in Hybrid roles will typically work from home for up to 40-60% of the time where the needs of the service can still be met.
