The Falkirk Learning Disability Team is a specialist multi-disciplinary team working with people with learning disabilities. As an Assistant Team Manager (Social Worker) within the team, your main duties will be ensuring the delivery of effective assessment and care management services in a person centred and inclusive way.  It is essential that you are proactive and committed to working in partnership to promote positive outcomes. 

You must be a flexible, proactive problem solver who shows judgement and common sense with experience of Community Care Practice and Care Management. You will be responsible for the duty system, supervise several staff and support the Team Manager in the running and development of the team.

A DipSW or equivalent or BSc/MSc is essential.  Appropriate professional registration is required. 

If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.

You must have the ability to be mobile across the Falkirk Council area.
